The Hindu caste system is based upon the belief that we are not all morally equal.

The Christian worldview only superficially occupies the same category as other religions.

No one can rationally base his or her life on the assumption that two contradictory propositions can be equally true.

And some, if not many, in the “nones” category express their belief in “none-ism” with almost religious fervor!

Paradoxically, it seems that the more scientists learn about physical reality, the more formidable are the obstacles to understanding life’s origin from purely materialistic causes.

Scientists have now determined there are more than two hundred parameters fine-tuned to permit the existence of life.

There are many things we all take for granted, even though we do not actually know what they are.

Common sense tells us that the theory of a conflict between the two domains is falsified by the reality that a great many scientists are Christians.

Today, there is an overwhelming scientific consensus that the universe had its beginning in finite time. 

Many students attending secular universities quickly jettison faith in God as a direct result of assertions by professors that science has replaced the need for a “God hypothesis.”

Indeed, the evidence is so powerful that one of the world’s leading Jewish theologians, the late Pinchas Lapide, who taught at Hebrew University in Israel, declared himself convinced on the basis of the evidence that the God of Israel raised Jesus of Nazareth from the dead! 

Jewish beliefs about the afterlife precluded anyone’s rising from the dead to glory and immortality before the general resurrection at the end of the world.

What would it take to convince you that your brother is the Lord, such that you would be ready to die for that belief?

Any later legendary story would certainly have made male disciples discover the empty tomb. 

The next few blogs will argue in favor of the physical resurrection of Jesus.

For those of us who are Christians, these facts strongly support the Christian belief that Jesus was raised from the dead.

If a person claims to believe in Jesus, they should also believe the Old Testament accounts.

Jesus did not stop people when they worshipped him.
