Merry Christmas!

Garth and Mary Jestley

“For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”

(Isaiah 9:6)

This prophecy looks ahead to the arrival of Jesus, the only begotten Son of God. Amazingly, it was written nearly six hundred years before Jesus’ birth. As Christmas Day 2023 approaches, it is wonderful to reflect on the fact that God, the Creator and Sustainer of the entire universe, visited our world a little over 2000 years ago in the person of Jesus to provide the means whereby we can be reconciled with Him.

We wish you our readers a fresh encounter with the living God as you celebrate this Christmas season with family and friends.
